Competitive analysis to promote webinars
Requester: Compass Publishing Needs: Analyze what competitors are doing and how they are doing to promote their webinars, and use it to devise a promotion plan. Role: Analyst, main digital marketer Process: First, an analysis of competitors social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) was made as it is usually one of the main promoting channels, exploring their strengths and weaknesses. Then, An analysis of their homepage, and how events were promoted through the homepage was conducted, giving us a direction and more importantly new ideas to implement in our strategy. Results: We used the analysis to come up with pre-registration forms, world clocks for time zones, and email reminders to make sure everyone knows we are having webinars. Also, the homepage integrated a main banner and promotional page with directions on how to watch the webinars. |
