Introduction
Hello, pleased to meet you!
I am Francois Alonso, 27 years old, from France. Based in Seoul, South Korea since 2014, I am specialized in digital marketing and content marketing. i also have a background in international trade, languages and cultures, and experience in sales and UX/UI. Outside of work, you can find me cooking, racing, or working out!
I am a sociable, positive, and disciplined person, driven by the will to help people and make each other grow. This mission is also reflected in my work: I always work thinking of how to support as many as possible, this is always the heart of the process.

Warning: Reading may take a while from here (But it is worth it).
Just in case....
Chapter 1
Learning how to behave
I was born in Lille, France, and raised in Tours, France, until I left for South Korea in 2014. My upbringing has been a series of adventures and arguments with my younger brother and younger sister (now we are all good haha) and I did not have a thrilling social life at school, which led me to focus on more personal passions or interests early on. It is only when I reached university that I met the right people (i.e. the people who could bring the best of me), and turned into the sociable and positive person that I am now.
My parents, being from different backgrounds themselves (mother born in Algerian family, father in Spanish family) taught us to be team players and to be understanding of others (Thanks mom and dad). All in all, I was raised to be good and to do good. |
Chapter 2
Learning how to enjoy moments
I studied Applied Languages back at university, which is a combination of language learning (translation, interpretation, culture learning), and economy (economy, law, trade). I specialized in English and Spanish. Anyway, the important point is that university allowed me to be who I am, thanks to the people I met back then and the environment I was in. I also discovered the joy of parties... Social life was up there!
Studying languages and trade made me aware of my interest and ability in both fields and reinforced my will of studying abroad. Arguably, meeting people from different backgrounds (participated in multicultural cafes) also contributed substantially into my resolve of continuing my life in a foreign country. The opportunity showed itself when I had to choose where to go for my study abroad. |
Chapter 3
Learning how to focus my energy
I could write a whole book about my life in South Korea. Long story short, I came as an exchange student in 2014, but liked it and stayed, learnt Korean, completed my master's degree, and here I am, 7 years later, living and working here.
My life here has been full of challenges, achievements, happiness, pain, and more. I learnt a whole new language and adapted to a completely different culture, graduated master's degree in International Trade, met people that are now my best friends, and learnt to be completely autonomous. I discovered many things about myself, and grew tremendously as a person. South Korea has made me more resilient, gritty, disciplined, openminded, and driven than ever to be successful. The challenge is now to learn to be better professionally, incorporating into my thought process what I think South Korea does well to be successful here. |
Chapter 4
Yet to be written... You might be the inspiration for it!
Work aspirationsI studied International trade and graduated with a Master's degree, but soon realized that my favorite thing to do was creating content and telling people stories. My studies served as strong basis for speaking skills and data analysis, important areas of marketing.

HobbiesI Developed a passion for cars at a young age thanks to my dad, and became obsessed with cooking from when I was approximatively 18 years old. I also enjoy sports and working out.
Finally, I enjoy going to festivals (a lot). |
Future plansI plan on staying in South Korea and achieving my goals, doing what I love: creating content. Marketing has been a natural path due to the creative process involved, and South Korea a great source of inspiration for me.
